Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC) Degree Program

This program is available to members of the Air Force and their immediate family, who can attend college to receive an associate or a bachelor's degree at any SOCAD college accessible to a worldwide network of Army installations. This helps military families who are transferred often to maintain their educational progress toward a degree. For more information, visit:

General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant Program

Stateside spouses of active duty members of the Air Force and Title 10 AGR/Reservists may be eligible to receive grants of $2000 toward tuition, books, fees, and directly related educational expenses. The program is need-based and managed by ACT Scholarship and Recognition Services. For more information, visit:

General George S. Brown Spouse Tuition Assistance Program (STAP)

Spouses of active duty Airmen or Officers in the Air Force who are accompanying their enlisted spouse overseas may be eligible for tuition assistance to attend college where they will be stationed. Up to $1,500 per academic year is available for spouses who qualify.
